I didn't go to work today due to sorethroat and cough , its not that bad, but it needs rest to bring back my natural voice.  So what's keeping me busy here? of course xanga, i tried to change my xanga skins, but i think i don't have enough knowledge to do it, i read the skin tutorials but still, i can't understand it , maybe im already old for this kind of stuff, hehehe.

A Busy & Costly Week it was.

Aug. 30, Monday - Payday time , went to SM Sucat to have a haircut and buy things and foodstuff needed.

Aug. 31, Tuesday- Due to traffic, decided not to attend badminton practice, instead went to Conrad's Restaurant with Sharon of Cargo Operatons, Mike, Joven and Len of Cargo Acctg, to have dinner and of course, drinking session.

September 1, Wednesday - See Wet and Wild entry i posted below. Re-organization of Corporate Logistics, Cargo Operations and Passenger Sales and Ticketing takes effect .  Nice to know, i'm still with the Administration.

September 2, Thursday - My officemate's birthday,Weng Tomada, who treated us lunch. Its also the 2nd leg of our bowling elimination, sad to say , we didn't make it to the final 12 , we placed 15th overall among the 26 teams.  Despite the setback, i played a career high of 169 points in my second game, unfortunately, that score wasn't enough to carry the team to the next round.  Better luck next year. (Pictures to follow)

September 3, Friday - Post blow-out merienda for Sir Greg, who celebrated his birthday last August 29. Its also my college/review friend's birthday (Atty Henry Pablo Jr.) , went to Timog, Quezon City to join the celebration.  Moved to Roxas Blvd around 11pm to have more fun, went home 5am already, tired but have a great time.

September 4, Saturday - After sleeping for only 3 hours, wake up at 8 am to pack up things needed going to Daranak falls in Tanay Rizal.  We didn't thought na it will take us long travel just to reach that falls , it takes us only an hour swimming since its only up to 5pm.  Huh, poor planning on our part, sabi nga ni weng, nag-bowling na lang daw dapat, hehehe.

WET AND WILD WEDNESDAY

Even its raining very hard, we were able to hear Wednesday novena at baclaran church and practiced bowling for tomorrow's game.  And since we already finished late, we decided to eat at KFC along Mia road before going home.  Below are some of the pictures taken ... mga nagprepretend na nasa Hongkong kunwari ... hope next pictures totoong hongkong na talaga, hehehe.

ADMINISTRATION BOWLING TEAM  : GO FOR MAGIC 12

Last thursday, August 26, Cebu Pacific started its Bowlingfest at Pearl Plaza.  Of course, the Administration team is there to compete with other department.  We were placed on Lane 14, together with Inflight Team 2 at Lane 13. 

Our line-up is composed of Sir Greg, Mirabelle, Weng, Bill, Arlem and of course yours truly.  We played two games during the first leg of the elimination round, we got 617 points in the first game, and 615 in the second game for a total of 1,232 points, good to be at 13th spot among 26 teams.

We need to improve our game on the second & final leg of the elimination round on September 2, only the top 12 teams will enter into the next round.  Were behind 26 pts from the 12th team and just 1 pt ahead of the 14th team.  Huh, I just wish the break will come to us this thursday and be able to make it to the Top 12.

BAD - MINTON

Maybe BAD-minton is my game, not the sport Badminton because i really played bad in our practice for our company sportsfest, even a grade school student can beat me with the game i showed.  The trainer, husband of Mam Ceres, have a hard time teaching me the right stroke and steps, im fortunate na pasensyoso si sir, if not, baka pinalabas na ako ng court ..... at nag BEDminton na lang ako sa tabi tabi ng flicks badminton center sa kabihasnan.
